Round 6

Cherokee National

Originally scheduled for June 3rd, the NEPG and SE&TRA Cherokee National Enduro was postponed because of tropical storm Alberto. Due to the heavy rain in late may and the forecast of heavy rain throughout the preceding week, the area was too saturated to run the event. However, conditions on July 9th turned out to be ideal and made for great racing.

At the end of the day both Baylor boys sat on the podium. Grant put together a great performance and took home the win for the day by sweeping all seven tests. After 93 miles, Grant edged out Josh Toth by one-mintue and 23 seconds to take the win. Stew was in the hunt for second by was beat by Toth by a close 16 seconds. Russell Bobbitt finished in a solid 7th overall, while Zack Hayes took 5th in Pro2 class.

Stew Baylor finished the day in 3rd, but still has the overall lead with Josh Toth in 2nd.
