Burnt Gin Hare Scramble
Round 6 of the SETRA hare scramble series took us to the Burnt Gin Hare Scramble in Sumter South Carolina. It was a little cold that morning, but the weather made for the perfect temperature during the race. There was some rain leading up to the weekend which made for great traction.
The course was a little over 10 miles. The trail was a little rough in parts but still flowed really well. Most of the trail let riders stay on the pipe, which made for a lot fun. Of course, Burnt Gin is always great practice for the Sumter National Enduro. We saw several national level riders show up to get some saddle time in before the big weekend. Thanks to Ray Newton we were able to capture some great photos of the action!
