Enthusiastic volunteers will be on hand for assistance.

The Cherokee will have a new look and feel this year.  Being later in the year it will be warmer and the woods will be really greened up. The 2nd and 3rd sections are 100% new on new property and the 6th section hasn’t been used in several years. The Cherokee club has been hard at work getting LOTS of new trail put together. Section lengths are approx. 5, 5, 9, 10, 12 and 9-miles long.

Weather forecasters are calling for 20,40,90,60 and 0% chance of rain Wednesday through Sunday giving just enough time for the trees and forest floor to soak up the falling rain.  With Sunday’s high of 80F it should make for perfect race conditions.

Kenda recommends their Millville 2 rear and Washougal 2 front.  This combination of tires will work great in soft to intermediate conditions.  The Washougal rear and Triples are alternates.   With rain in the weather forecast for mid week, it is likely there will be some soft spots on the trail and fresh tires will give you the edge over your competition.  Kenda rider support boxes will be at the first and second gas truck at each event or look for the Kenda Arch in the pit area.

KTM has announced they will having street demo rides on Saturday from 10am – 4pm.  Models included will be 350EXC, 500EXC, 690Enduro, 1190Adv, 1190AdvR and 1290Super Adv.  A motorcycle license is required along with DOT helmet, eye protection, jacket, pants, boots and gloves.
